ARRC AP250 Race 2 | Krittapat Keankum Delivers Home Victory
At Round 2 of the 2026 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship held at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, AP250 Race 2 saw home rider Krittapat Keankum deliver a dominant and memorable victory.
Representing YAMAHA THAILAND RACING TEAM, Krittapat launched strongly from the start and immediately took control of the race. While the chasing group — including Hiroki Ono, Fahmi Basam, Rheza Danica Ahrens, and Panjaruch Chitwirulchat — fought hard behind him, Krittapat stayed calm, consistent, and firmly in command at the front.
As the race progressed, he gradually extended his lead, entering the final lap with an advantage of more than four seconds. Krittapat eventually crossed the line first with a winning time of 18’41.804s, giving the Thai fans a home victory to celebrate. Fellow Thai rider Panjaruch Chitwirulchat finished second in 18’46.498s, while Candra H of YAMAHA RACING INDONESIA completed the podium in third with 18’48.366s.
This race highlighted not only Krittapat’s speed, but also his composure, consistency, and ability to perform under home-crowd pressure.
ARRC UB150 Race 2 | Husni Zainul Fuadzy Stands Tall in Buriram
At Round 2 of the 2026 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship held at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, UB150 Race 2 delivered another intense and unpredictable battle.
At the start, April King Mascardo of RACETECH YAMAHA PHILIPPINES RACING TEAM launched strongly into the early lead, followed closely by Nazirul Izzat Muhammad Bahauddin. As the race progressed, Husni Zainul Fuadzy, Ahmad Darwisy Ahmad Sahir, Shahrol Syazras, Muhammad Adib Arsyad, and Dimas Juli Atmoko all joined the front-pack fight, with positions changing constantly through the opening laps.
On Lap 4, Race 1 winner Fadli Rigani set the fastest lap of the race at 2’02.357s and moved into the lead, but his challenge ended on Lap 6 due to an engine problem. Drama continued on the final lap as Kiki Sudarman Manurung crashed, while Nazirul and John Emerson Inguito also went down at the final corner while fighting for podium positions.
Through the chaos, Husni Zainul Fuadzy of ZIEAR LFN HP969 ADELIN MCR RBT34 stayed composed and crossed the line first in 16’37.890s to take victory. Dimas initially finished second on the road but was later penalized for exceeding track limits at Turn 12, promoting Ahmad Darwisy Ahmad Sahir to second with 16’38.280s, while Adytya Fauzi completed the podium in third with 16’38.301s.
Husni’s win highlighted his ability to learn from Race 1, stay calm under pressure, and make the right decisions in tricky mixed conditions — proving once again that consistency and composure are crucial in the highly competitive UB150 class.
TVS Racing International Championship Race 2 | Sarthak Chavan Bounces Back with Victory
At Round 2 of the 2026 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship held at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, the TVS Racing International Championship Race 2 delivered another close and dramatic battle.
India’s Sarthak Chavan returned to winning form after a difficult start to the weekend. From the opening lap, Malaysia’s Mohd Ramdan Rosli took an early lead before Spain’s Luis Miguel, Portugal’s Pedrinho Matos, South Africa’s Oratilwe Phiri, and others joined the fight at the front.
The decisive moment came on the final lap when Luis and Oratilwe crashed at Turn 6 while battling for position, ending their podium hopes. Staying composed under pressure, Sarthak made his move in the final corner and crossed the line first in 14’58.040s. Ramdan Rosli finished second in 14’58.113s, just 0.073 seconds behind, while Pedrinho Matos completed the podium with 14’58.128s.
This victory was more than just a race win — it was a strong comeback performance, showing Sarthak’s focus, determination, and ability to deliver when it mattered most.
